The article suggests that the implications of events in Croydon are generally applicable to the FWBO by arguing that they are underpinned by FWBO teaching, as Sangharakshita and Subhuti’s published writings reveal an extraordinary agenda on sex, family, and women....
However the presentation of teachings is at the very least oversimplified and distorting, and sometimes simply wrong. Such misunderstandings are, unfortunately, pivotal to the article, and are repeatedly mobilised to raise questions about the FWBO’s integrity, or its security against a repeat of the Croydon phenomenon.
